More deals are also on the cards for the busy retail park, as the latest retailer is handed their keys
Teesside Shopping Park has signed up it’s latest retailer – creating more jobs.
Health store Holland and Barrett will move into a vacant 2,000 sq ft unit, next to Marks & Spencer at the busy retail park, within weeks.
It is not yet known how many jobs will be created.
And park bosses are also in talks with other retailers to fill a vacant unit next-door.
Teesside Shopping Park manager Mike Clarke said: “Holland and Barrett is a really great addition to the current line-up at the park, we’re very pleased about it.
“We have also got things in the pipeline for the vacancy next-door – hopefully in the not too distant future there’ll be somebody picking up their keys.”
Work is also under way on a major expansion for the Next store at the park, which will more than double in size to create the retailer’s largest North-east branch, bringing a further jobs boost.
It’s thought the new-look store, which will feature the park’s second Costa Coffee, a lingerie room and a “large format” home floor, will open by September.
